El Programa de Becas Patrocinado por UBS propone ampliar el horizonte de las futuras generaciones de Puerto Rico, fomentando su creatividad a través de un concurso de escritura en la cual descubrirán sus propósitos en sus comunidades y en otros países y culturas. En colaboración con UBS, la Alliance Française Puerto Rico otorgará a los ganadores becas creadas para impulsarlos hacia un futuro brillante.

The UBS Scholarship Program aims to broaden the horizon for Puerto Rico’s future generations by encouraging their creativity through a writing contest in which they will uncover their roles in their respective communities and in other countries and cultures. In partnership with UBS, the Alliance Française Puerto Rico will grant winners targeted scholarships created to propel them towards a bright, productive future

FRANCÉS PARA EL FUTURO: BECAS PARA CLASES DE FRANCÉS

French for the Future: French Language Scholarships

Este programa de becas brindará a los beneficiarios un conocimiento fundamental mediante dos semestres de cursos de francés en la Alliance Française de Puerto Rico, en San Juan. Las clases se impartirán según el Marco Común Europeo de Referencia para las Lenguas, el estándar principal del aprendizaje de lenguas en Europa. El material pedagógico de la AFPR es desarrollado por expertos especializados en la enseñanza del francés como lengua extranjera, en Francia. La Alliance Française y UBS se enorgullecen en ofrecer 5 becas Francés para el futuro para el año académico 2023.

Para solicitar la beca, el/la candidato(a) debe:

Tener entre 12 – 18 años
Vivir actualmente en Puerto Rico
Estudiar en una escuela intermedia o superior en Puerto Rico.
Conocimiento o educación de francés previa no es necesario para solicitar esta beca.

Fecha límite: 13 de diciembre de 2022

This scholarship program provides recipients with foundational knowledge via two semesters of French courses at Alliance Française Puerto Rico in San Juan. Classes take a systematic approach based upon the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, the leading standard in language education in Europe. Moreover, core course materials are developed by professional French as a foreign language instructors in France. For the 2023 academic term, AFPR and UBS are proud to offer 5 French for the Future scholarships.

To be eligible for consideration, candidates should meet the following criteria:

12 – 18 years of age
Currently residing in Puerto Rico
Currently studying at an intermediate or high school in Puerto Rico.
Previous study or knowledge of French is not required to apply for this scholarship

Scholarship deadline: December 13, 2022.

PASAPORTE PARA EL FUTURO: BECAS PARA EL DELF/DALF

Passport for the Future: Scholarship for the DELF/DALF

Esta beca única proveerá a estudiantes acceso a preparación y el examen DELF-DALF, cubriendo el costo total de las reconocidas pruebas, que evalúan y certifican sus capacidades en el idioma francés. Este examen es organizado por el Ministerio de educación de Francia y cumple con los requisitos del prestigioso sistema universitario francés y es reconocido por muchas instituciones del mundo francófono. La Alliance Française y UBS se enorgullecen en ofrecer 5 becas Pasaporte para el futuro para el año académico 2023.

Para solicitar la beca, el/la candidato(a) debe:

Tener 17 años o más
Vivir actualmente en Puerto Rico
Currently studying in high school or at a university in Puerto Rico.
Nótese que un conocimiento previo o educación de francés ES necesario para solicitar esta beca.

Fecha límite: 30 de abril de 2023

This unique scholarship provides recipients with preparation and covers examination fees for the internationally recognized DELF-DALF exam, which evaluates their capacities in the French language. Organized by the French Ministry of Education, this exam fulfills language requirements for the highly regarded French university system and is recognized by many institutions in the Francophone world. For the 2023 academic term, AFPR and UBS are proud to offer 5 Passport for the Future scholarships.

To be eligible for consideration, candidates should meet the following criteria:

17 + years of age Currently residing in Puerto Rico
Currently studying in high school or at a university in Puerto Rico.
Please note that previous study or knowledge of French is required to apply for this scholarship.

Scholarship deadline: April 30, 2023.
